Blame

We look for reasons,
Excuses…
Anything to not blame ourselves,
And everyone else.

Yet,
We are the only ones to blame,
That can be blamed,
Hold accountability,
That is,
For our actions,
And our reactions.

Something which is all to painful to bear,
All to real,
Knowing you are the only one at fault.

Becoming a matter of forgiveness…
To yourself.

Even in the most horrific situations,
Even when you think it’s not…
It is,
A role still played.

And though,
Our actions may not be the cause of others,
But do in fact
Influenced them…
Reactions…
Things we wouldn’t normally do.

Yet here we are,
Pointing the finger…
When really…
The only one to blame…
Is you.
