Damaged
We all stand here,
Damaged by our demons,
Demons hell bend on killing us...
Our souls...
Our hearts...
Some of us too afraid to love...
Such beautiful things...
To find,
To accept,
That which we deserve,
Which we long for.
Yet we can't,
We won't,
Because of those very demons.
Years of disturbance,
The destruction of peace...
Of sanity.
Our past infringing upon our future...
Fighting in opposition.
So damaged...
By the vary enemies
We inherited from our parents...
By the constituents of natural order...
As to what we know,
What learnt to be true.
So damaged...
That all we see are cracks.
