Who are we really,
For we seek validation,
In the loneliness of places,
As though,
It offers support,
Comfort,
Love.

Yet,
It is so empty,
So meaningless.

Have we all grown to be superficial,
Materialistic,
Egotistic,
Or do we really lack confidence?

Has this world created,
Made us,
Into something else,
Something which seeks meaningless validation?
Or is it who we are?
What we have grown to be?

It’s all so confusing,
To understand.
Who are we really?!
